The Whig Caucus, founded in March of 2016 stands for principled centrism. We believe that the strongest path for our nation is a radically different one from the polarized political climate of today. Instead of division, we pursue pragmatism. We stand for individual freedoms, the rights and privileges that have made our nation the bastion of progress and opportunity. Yet we recognize the short comings of our age- our leaders have not invested in our future, and have been misdirected by division. The Whig Caucus stands for reasonable solutions for America and the world. We must be fiscally responsible while starting new investment. We must embrace the interconnectedness of our Earth rather than shy away from it. We must pursue our nation's interests abroad and support our marginalized citizens at home. We must reform our voting system to be fair and open for all. Our caucus stands with the Modern Whig Party for a radical future for America: a future of courage, commonsense and country. The new American century will be led by radical moderation - we will accept nothing less in the face of adversity.
